Baa Baa Brighouse Joins the Campaign for Wool

I am delighted to announce that Baa Baa Brighouse has joined HRH the Prince of Wales in supporting the Campaign for Wool. The campaign, of which Prince Charles is patron, aims to raise awareness among consumers about the unique, natural and sustainable benefits of wool, educating and reconnecting people with its myriad of uses. Baa Baa Brighouse is committed to using wool in at least 75% of the garments it produces overall, as well as stocking a range of wool yarns from Yorkshire manufacturers, particularly those containing the county's own bluefaced leicester. Our aim is to support Yorkshire sheep farming and the many independent and artisan businesses, from hand weavers to hand dyers, that thrive as a result.
