Baa Baa Brighouse to be the First Stockist of Sylvan Tiger Yarn

We're super excited to announce that Baa Baa Brighouse is to be the very first stockist of Sylvan Tiger Yarn - adding another independent Yorkshire hand dyer to our catalogue of suppliers. Katie of Sylvan Tiger Yarn specialises in creating luxury yarns using only natural dyes and British wool, particularly Bluefaced Leicester, an ethos we very much support at Baa Baa Brighouse. She said: "I use wool sourced from British suppliers and where possible from British sheep, processed and spun in Britain. I use natural dyes mostly in extract form which gives better repeatability of colourways and allows me to dye year-round. "My inspiration for colours and combinations often comes from my local...

I’ve trawled the Ravelry website to find some fantastic free patterns suitable for knitters of a variety of skill levels – from beginners to the most experienced. The best thing about Dad knits is that the pattern often calls for an Aran weight yarn – I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in Erika Knight’s Vintage Wool in chocolate or iced gem – perfect shades for Dads everywhere and available at Baa Baa Brighouse! Or why not check out the West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 Ply – ideal...
