Sign ups for our 12 Days of Christmas Yarn Box are now open!
This year we will be taking our inspiration from a brand new book by fantasy writer, Neil Gaiman. ‘What You Need To Be Warm’ is a poem written and published in aid of the UNHCR Winter Appeal exploring our shared desire to feel safe, warm and welcome in a world that can often feel frightening and lonely. The book features illustrations by 13 artists and every sale of the book supports the work of the UN Refugee Agency.
A hardback copy of the book will be included in each 12 Days of Christmas Yarn Box and Baa Baa Brighouse will also be donating £5 from the sale of each box to the UNHCR as well. Each box will include 12 individually wrapped hand dyed 25g mini skeins of 100% British Bluefaced Leicester 4 ply high twist sock yarn inspired by both the words and illustrations in Neil Gaiman’s book.
Boxes will be available to purchase until Monday December 4th and will be posted out shortly afterwards in time for Christmas Day on December 25th, making these a perfect gift or as a special treat for yourself.
In previous years we have created 12 Days of Christmas Yarn Boxes based on Raymond Briggs’ ‘The Snowman’, ‘The Snowman & The Snow Dog’ and Dylan Thomas’ ‘A Child’s Christmas In Wales’. Please see our Product Gallery to view images of last year’s offering. Please note that this year’s colourways and box contents will be different.
