Sign ups for our Flower Fairies – The Fairies Of The Winter Mini Skein Club – Box One are now open!

Introducing a brand new monthly offering from Baa Baa Brighouse – The Flower Fairies Mini Skein Club. This new club will take its inspiration from Cicely Mary Barker’s Flower Fairies books, celebrated the world over for their botanically accurate drawings of flora and fauna.

The first three months of this club was based on The Fairies of the Spring. The following three boxes were based on The Fairies of the Summer and the next three on The Fairies of the Autumn. We have now reached The Fairies of the Winter (November 2023 – January 2024). Each box will include six 20g mini skeins (120g) of delicately hand dyed yarn, sumptuously soft, 100% British Bluefaced Leicester 4 ply high twist sock yarn. Each mini will be inspired and named after an individual fairy from the book.

The first box will include a hardback copy of the book, The Fairies Of The Winter. The second and third will include some enchanting fairy themed extras.

The Fairies of the Winter Mini Skein Club Box One will be available to purchase until Thursday November 30th and will be posted out shortly afterwards once dyeing is complete.

Box Two of The Fairies of the Summer Mini Skein Club included The Foxglove Fairy, The White Clover Fairy, The Honeysuckle Fairy, The Harebell Fairy, The Scabious Fairy and The Poppy Fairy. Box Three of The Fairies of the Summer Mini Skein Club included The Traveller’s Joy Fairy, The Rose Fairy, The Herb Robert Fairy, The Forget-Me-Not Fairy, The Buttercup Fairy and The Wild Rose Fairy.

Box One of The Fairies of The Autumn Mini Skein Club included The Nightshade Berry Fairy, The Crab-Apple Fairy, The Beechnut Fairy, The Hazel-Nut Fairy, The Elderberry Fairy and The Wayfaring Tree Fairy. Box Two of The Fairies of the Autumn Mini Skein Club included The Rose Hip Fairy, The Horse Chestnut Fairy, The Acorn Fairy, The Dogwood Fairy, The White Bryony Fairy and The Black Bryony Fairy.
