October Yan Tan Tourer Yarn Club
Following on from the success of our Yan Tan Tethera Yarn Club, which launched in 2014, we have decided to introduce a brand new club for 2019 – The Yan Tan Tourer Yarn Club.
Whilst our ever popular Yan Tan Tethera Yarn Club will continue to run every month, our new Yan Tan Tourer Yarn Club offers a wider scope when it comes to celebrating British yarn, British dyers and the sheer beauty of the British Isles.
The key difference with the Yan Tan Tourer Yarn Club is that dyers will take their inspiration from a landscape, nature or wildlife photograph taken somewhere in the British Isles (not Yorkshire where our original Yan Tan Tethera Yarn Club takes its inspiration from).
For the October Yan Tan Tourer Yarn Club, we’re off to the beautiful city of Bath and will be taking our inspiration from the image, ‘Stairwell’ by Shutterspot Photography. The picture was taken below the famous Pulteney Bridge.
We find ourselves in the unusual position of having a spare Yan Tan Tourer Yarn Club Box up for grabs. Included in the box is a copy of the inspiration picture, a 100g skein of exclusive hand-dyed Shetland aran weight wool called ‘Stairwell’ and a Jane Austen silhouette pin badge from Bath. See below for pictures but be quick, once it’s gone, it’s gone!
All Yan Tan Tourer Yarn Club subscriptions are presented in a gift box tied with satin ribbon and will include a copy of the inspiration photograph and a little complimentary gift from Baa Baa Brighouse.
Take a look at the product gallery to see January, February, March, April, May, June, July and August’s Yan Tan Tourer Yarn Box.
