Knit and Natter

Baa Baa Brighouse host a regular Knit and Natter group in Rastrick.

Bring your knitting or crochet project along or some yarn and knitting needles or a hook and join in the fun. Meet like minded people as they enjoy a pleasant Saturday morning chatting and knitting.

The group meets at:

Location: Rastrick Library, Crowtrees Lane, Rastrick, Brighouse, HD6 3NE
Time: 10.30am to 12.30pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month.

Please Note: The next Knit and Natter will be on Saturday February 16th, 2019. If you’re thinking of taking up a new hobby this year, our Knit and Natter sessions are a perfect way to get crafting.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake are always available. There is usually a small Baa Baa Brighouse display at each gathering so you can look at some of the latest yarns.

All are welcome, beginners, amateurs and experts. We look forward to meeting you!

If you have little ones, feel free to bring them along as we regularly provide woolly crafts to keep them busy and at the first Knit and Natter of each month, a Board Games Group is also held at the library.

Join Our New Knit and Natter Group!

In October 2015 we began hosting a second Knit and Natter Group in conjunction with community bakery, LoveBread, in Brighouse.

The group meets on the second Saturday of every month from 10am to 12pm in the community space at LoveBread, The Bakehouse, 7 Martin Street, Brighouse, HD6 1DA. The next meeting will be on Saturday March 9th.

Again, the group is free to attend and all ages and abilities are welcome. Refreshments will be available from the Community Cafe, which is run by a team of enterprising youngsters. Please consider supporting their business venture during your visit!
