Baa Baa Brighouse has decided that because, like most, we feel unable to influence social, political or economic change in any significant way, it can instead take care of its own very small corner of the world.
In 2019, we launched our monthly limited edition hand dyed charity yarns where £3 of every skein sold went to a chosen charity. Last year we raised in excess of £500 for 16 worthy causes – something we hope to build on in 2020.
Our chosen charity for February will be the MS Society, a UK based organisation that supports people living with multiple sclerosis, a neurological condition which affects the nerves. The MS Society campaigns on behalf of people living with MS and also funds research with a view to hopefully one day finding a cure.
This month’s yarn, “Stand Up For MS”, is a 100% British Bluefaced Leicester DK yarn available in 100g skeins. It is hand painted creating a variegated yarn in orange, yellow and white.
£3 of every skein sold will go towards the MS Society. The yarn will be available exclusively from Baa Baa Brighouse throughout February.
Please note: An image of the yarn will be uploaded shortly.
